Living & Eating
The Sitting Room overlooks the Porteous Pend courtyard. It has a round dining table ideal for a relaxing dinner in the apartment.
There is a large comfortable Futon Company double sofabed (sleeping a further 2 if required) and 2 loungers to sit back after a long day exploring the city. Flatscreen Digital TV and DVD player which can play CD’s too.
A modern, fully-equipped Kitchen leads off the sitting room. There is a washing machine, fridge with ice box, electric oven and hob with extractor hood.
Sleeping & Bathing
The Bedroom has a beautiful king-sized cream wrought iron bed made up in 500-thread crisp white linen. Hair dryer.
Beside the bedroom but not quite ensuite (accessible should there be more than 2 staying), the Bathroom is modern and fresh.
There is a powerful electric shower over bath, WC and wash hand basin.
Soft bath and hand towels plus bath mat provided.
Things To See & Do In Edinburgh
The Grassmarket is full of great restaurants, offering pre-theatre deals and outdoor dining so you can sit and soak in the atmosphere. The University buildings are located around this area too.
Edinburgh is a great city for exploring on foot – stroll up to Bruntsfield to the lovely unique shops, cafes and bars there, or sunbathe and picnic in the Meadows.
Holyrood Palace is a 10 minute walk away, overlooked by Arthurs Seat – a hearty walk to the top will reward you with wonderful 360 degree views of the city.
